Hike to Alto del Buitre and Nemusten Waterfall

We invite you to enjoy a wonderful experience, in the department of Cundinamarca, just 2 hours from Bogotá, in Sueva (Junín). There you will discover one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Colombia. It is a magical land on the outskirts of Chingaza National Park, with mountainous topography, its cliffs and its innumerable water sources are the perfect ingredients for the formation of this majestic waterfall. All this water wealth has been exploited, allowing the center of Colombia to be supplied with energy. You will have the opportunity to support rural tourism and boost the economy of these municipalities and their families that need it so much.

It includes

🚌 Round trip transportation by private tourist bus from Bogotá

🎯 Payment of tickets to the farms to access the places that we will know (private areas)

🏞 Ecological walk of 6 Kms (round trip), where you will know El Alto del Buitre. You will enjoy spectacular views during the journey and at the Alto. On the way back, you will get to know up close a beautiful and mighty waterfall that is born in the Chingaza páramo. The Nemustén Waterfall is seen emerging from a lush Andean forest and rock. It is an incredible landscape and if the river is not plentiful, you can bathe. In this magical place you will enjoy an exquisite peasant lunch served in banana leaves. Children from 8 to 65 years old can participate in this tour (if they do any physical activity).

3. If there is another meeting point to the north after Heroes, agree with your advisor on where and the exact time.

The bus does not wait longer than the indicated time.

4. If you arrive by your own means (car, motorcycle or fleet) leave your house with enough time. Please speak with your advisor beforehand so that the meeting point to park and the time you should arrive will be sent to you. The value of the parking lot for the day is $ 5,000 that you will cancel the lady who owns the property. From this point the walk begins.

• Tennis or hiking boots, bring a spare pair of shoes in case the former get wet or muddy.

• If you want to bathe, you should bring light clothes and change and a bag to carry your wet clothes and shoes. The bath is in cold water (bath at the discretion of each participant and will depend on the weather conditions at that time)

• Wear sports or hiking clothing. No Jeans. Jacket and cap

• Please DO NOT bring glass or heavy items.

• Bring a bag for your garbage. We will not leave anything in the place where we will go.

🍗🍎🍎🍇 Food?

• You must have breakfast at home or bring your breakfast. We will not make any stops during the tour. Bring sweets / chocolates / peanuts / sandwiches / fruit / cheese, for the tour.

• For lunch, you will have two hours. You will enjoy your peasant lunch and your drink and you will be able to rest and enjoy the waterfall and the landscape

✅ Cancellation and refund policies

• Cancellations made with a minimum of 36 hours in advance, will have 100% of the money available to use it in any of our next walks.

• Cancellations made between 35 and 24 hours before the event will only have 50% of the consigned value available, to be used in any of our next walks.

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the event or on the same day of the event, will not have full or partial refunds of money because all logistics, transport, insurance policies, etc. will have already been incurred.
